It is always great as creatives to experiment with our craft. I like to always have projects on the go. I attempted some night photography last month, and loved it. The moon was bright but not full and it was a clear cold, crisp night. I took my dog with me and had heaps of fun, although he kept running with his stick in his mouth in front of the camera….lucky he is black!
Each exposure was 30 seconds long and I used the light on my phone to subtle paint with light on the trees and paths…
I hope you enjoy what I have done.
If you’d like to learn how to use your camera at night or anytime, pop along to one of my #PhotowalkCanberra Events or book a class one-on-one or a small group.
The next #PhotowalkCanberra is on Sunday the 18th September 1-3pm and we will be concentrating on details, texture and taking images out of context. The location will be at the National Gallery of Australia Sculpture Gardens and the fog scultpure will be working between 1-2pm, which will be great for some interesting effects.
