Had the very lovely pleasure to teach a night photography workshop for Questacon as part of the Enlighten festival, last night. The second workshop is on the Saturday the 8th March. The workshops sold out very quickly, so hopefully next year we will be able to do some more.
Sadly there was no sunshiny sunset to photography last night, so hoping it will pop out for next time. Enlighten was wonderful last night and I encourage anyone in Canberra region or visitors to get out and about tonight and next Friday and Saturday to see it.
There were 15 in the group last night and I am hoping that they will post their creations on the Flickr group but also on the Questacon Facebook page. Also, look out for the hashtags #questacon #Q25 and #enlighten on Twitter, too.
It is always lovely to see how different people interpret our home, Canberra.
Last night we experimented in long shutter speeds to make the Lake Burley Griffin’s water, soft and fluffy, some light painting with our torches and flashes and last of all trying to capture the laser show and also the beautifully lit buildings within the Parliamentary triangle…
I had fun and I think everyone else did too!
